This should be last thing at night and on one other occasion.<br \/>\n&#8211; Always spit out the excess toothpaste after you brush, and don&#8217;t rinse with water.<br \/>\n&#8211; it is also important to clean in between your teeth regularly. You can use floss if the gaps between your teeth are small, or Tepe brushes for different-sized gaps.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Every time you eat or drink something sugary, your teeth are attacked by acid for up to an hour.<br \/>\n&#8211; This is because the sugar reacts with the acid in dental plaque (the sticky coating on your teeth) and produces harmful acids.<br \/>\n&#8211; It is therefore important to consume sugary food and drinks a mealtimes (and not more than 4 times a day).<br \/>\n&#8211; Acidic foods and drinks can be just as harmful to your teeth.
